It’s up on the website! I’ll be running a new course at Chelsea College of Arts in November – a three-day course to allow students to develop their Mixed Media Photography project: from proposal writing to shooting, editing and manipulating. All the details can be found here.
July will see me go back to Chelsea College of Arts to deliver this fun and exciting one day course in Mixed Media Photography, for which I believe there are a couple of places left! More information on the course and how to book can be found here.
Last weekend I was busy photographing The Big Sleepover in Myatts’ Fields, Camberwell and here’s a little snippet of the day.
Want to know more about The Big Sleepover? Here’s what Father Nature has to say about it:
“Your local park may be a familiar daytime haunt, but imagine being able to spend a summer night sleepover there when everyone else has gone home: you’re camping out, building a fire, enjoying storytelling and games with other local families.
Father Nature gives low/no income families a taste of camping in the great outdoors… on their doorstep… and for free! With tents and sleeping bags for all, and park security provided by the Army Reserves, each year 100 local families are invited to camp for a night in the park accompanied by workshops on fire-lighting and cooking, gardening, storytelling and much more, all with dinner and breakfast next day thrown in.”
I’ll be running a free one hour session Adobe Photoshop Beginners as part of Morley College Morsels on Friday 11th March. All the details here: https://www.morleycollege.ac.uk/events/273-morley-morsels
I attended a printmaking workshop yesterday at Louise’s lovely home studio, learning printmaking techniques using a juice carton, a rusty nail and a pasta machine for printing press! Very creative afternoon, suitable for all levels and easy technique to repeat at home. DETAILS AND TICKET BOOKING HERE: https://billetto.co.uk/en/users/louise-whitham
